Federal Automated Recovery Systems (FARS)

NSF Check Processing Program (Non-Sufficient Funds) Allows for electronic re-presentment of dishonored checks or pre authorized debits under the guidelines set forth by NACHA  (National  Automated Clearing  House Association) and the Federal Reserve System.

FARS (No Cost For The Service)

• No up-front, retainer, or annual renewal fees for the FARS  protection.
• No need for any budget appropriation review in order to receive the benefits of the FARS service.
• NSF check writer pays for the your company’s protection through the state’s mandated return check service fee.
• FARS receives its revenue for services rendered through the state fee that is electronically recovered for each NSF check.
